Lubricant Performance Additives is rooted in sulfur and phosphorus chemistry. We specialize in additives for extreme pressure, wear protection, friction modification and corrosion inhibition. Transportation Lubricants
Thanks to its long tradition in phosphorus-based chemistry, MYAEGIS is a global leading manufacturer of very high-quality Phosphorus Pentasulfide (P2S5), a key precursor for the production of an important class of lubricant anti-wear additives such as zinc-dithiophosphate (ZDDP). We meet customer spec requirements in terms of reactivity, Phosphorous to Sulphur ratio and format (scales, flakes, various powder granularities) thanks to production flexibility and expertise built over more than 25 years of collaboration with major international players.
MYAEGIS Chemicals is also manufacturing an extensive range of ASA/PIBSA reacting olefins and HR-PIB of different length and molecular weight, and further reacting them with amines, polyamines, alcohols and other chemistries to prepare molecules that find application as fuel additives and in lubricants as dispersing agents. We have further expanded our phosphorus chemistry into special phosphites and phosphonates that find main use in Automatic Transmission Fluids intermediates and components. MYAEGIS is also manufacturing friction modifier components for use in engine oils.

Thanks to its Detrex Chemicals line, Italmatch Chemicals is the only producer of semiconductor grade hydrochloric acid manufactured through a fully synthetic process, with production, packaging and testing all carried out on the same site. Unlike conventional approaches that rely on distillation, our process starts from high-purity chlorine and hydrogen that are carefully inspected, audited and sourced with full traceability, ensuring consistent quality from raw materials to the final product.
As the only synthetic producer to package on site, we offer a unique level of control and reliability. Each product is sampled directly from the customer's package, allowing us to guarantee that the quality delivered is exactly the quality received at the point of use in semiconductor manufacturing.
We have an extensive experience in producing high-purity semiconductor grade hydrochloric acid, offering a broad range of specifications to meet different process requirements. Available grades include 1 ppb, 2 ppb, 5 ppb, 10 ppb and 100 ppb, all designed to support the most demanding applications in the semiconductor industry. To ensure the highest standards, every customer lot is analyzed using Perkin-Elmer ICP/MS technology, with testing performed on 37 trace elements.
In addition, particle control is a critical aspect of our quality assurance process. All products undergo particle analysis using Particle Measuring Systems HSLIS-M65e counters, and every semiconductor grade hydrochloric acid is filtered through a 20 nm Entegris filter. We package our hydrochloric acid in high purity US Coexcell drums, Shutz totes and returnable tote fleets and dedicated high purity fiberglass bulk tank trucks, ensuring safe handling and consistent quality throughout the supply chain.
